The Oropala Story

Oropala was created and founded in 2015. The company partnered with three Fortune 500 utilities and a Fortune 500 pipeline company, and developed a safety tracking software to support a North America wide safety initiative. Those products became known as ShovelSafe and ShovelSecure, and they continue to be used broadly by contractors and utilities. Oropala continued to expand its offerings to other construction related activities and today serves many of the largest contractors and utilities in North America.

2015

Oropala Established

Oropala partners with three Fortune 500 utilities and a Fortune 500 pipeline company.

2016

ShovelSafe Launched

ShovelSafe is released to allow excavators to track, analyze and measure damage prevention performance.

2017

500 Customers

Oropala passes the 500 customer milestone.

2018

ShovelSecure Launched

ShovelSecure is released to allow utilities to track, analyze and measure damage prevention performance of their excavation vendors.

2019

1,000 Customers

Oropala passes the 1,000 customer milestone.

2020

Construction Yearbook Launched

Construction Yearbook is released to allow construction companies to dramatically improve how they communicate internally and externally.
